Design of Bombardier’s Global 8000 aircraft
The Global 800 aircraft have been designed to deliver superior levels of performance, flexibility, and comfort. The length of the aircraft is 30.97m, overall height is 8.14m and wingspan is 31.79m.
Flight deck of the high-speed business aircraft
The aircraft is featuring a Global Vision flight deck. The cockpit is including four large liquid crystal display (LCD) screens, head-up display system (HUD), enhanced vision system (EVS) and synthetic vision system (SVS).
It also has an onboard maintenance system (OMS), datalink, SATCOM, state-of-the-art cabin management system (CMS) and controller pilot data link communication (CPDLC).
In addition, the aircraft is equipped with graphical flight planning and weather radar, including windshear detection. It is also featuring the latest performance-based navigation features, such as wide area augmentation system (WAAS), localizer performance with vertical guidance (LPV) approach and area navigation (RNAV).
